April’s New Member Coffee welcomes another impressive group

Seven new members took advantage of our April 16, 2024, New Member Coffee, hosted by the Membership Committee.

After a high-energy coffee klatch hour, a team of UMWC board members and volunteers gave short presentations on what our club has to offer our members. This included snippets of our long history, 3-part mission, communications (directory, website, newsletters, e-blasts, emails), interest sections, getting involved, and the scholarship program.

We had a wonderful time, got to know each other better, and can now look forward to expanding our friendships with these impressive women.

Celebrating the holidays with fellowship and ballet

In mid-December UMWC members celebrated the holidays at the Swedish Institute of Minnesota by touring the mansion, gathering for refreshments and enjoying a Nutcracker excerpt from the Out on a Limb Dance Company.
